Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, also known as Argireline, is a peptide (a chain of amino acids) that works by decreasing facial tension and therefore reducing wrinkles. Many people have heard of Argireline as the topical ingredient that is "better than Botox."
The effect of Argireline is suppose to be similar to Botox in that it can 'paralyze' your skin. We think that the claim that Argireline is better than Botox is significantly over-stated. That being said, the cost of an Argireline-based wrinkle cream is much more affordable than a $400 Botox treatment. Note that some studies suggest that Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 should only be used by people with very serious wrinkle concerns, as facial sagging may occur.

Our newest discovery! Lift SP is the only product we've found that contains both Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (Argirilene) and Matrixyl 3000. Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is one of the strongest anti-wrinkle ingredients currently available, as it is known to significantly reduce facial tension very quickly.
Matrixyl 3000 is an ingredient that is purported to have long-term benefits, such as repairing your skin collagen. In other words, Lift SP contains both short-term and long-term ingredients. This is especially good news for WrinkleCream.pro visitors, because you should be able to see the short-term impact during your free one month trial of LiftSP. Among products that contact Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, our general opinion is that LifeCell (see below) may have slightly more powerful ingredients for short-term anti-aging impact, but Lift SP is the better choice if you want to combine immediate benefits with long-term improvements.

LifeCell's active ingredients include several antioxidants, idebenone, (a chemical compound reputed to be incredibly effective at shielding the skin from burns and injury) and Acetyl Hexapeptide-3.
As far as we know, this is the only anti-aging cream currently available to offer both Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 and Idebenone. It's a potent combination that we'd love to see other wrinkle creams incorporate.

Rating: 3 ½ Stars
A clinical study of women aged 45-59 who used Relastin for 30 days saw a 75% decrease in wrinkles and fine lines, and 95% of study participants noting that their skin was smoother.
Relastin combines scientific compounds including Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 with several natural ingredients, including sugar maple, orange extract, lemon extract, and sugar cane.

Rating: 3 ½ Stars
AlphaDerma CE's anti-wrinkle formula is primarily based on Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, also known as Argireline, but it also includes Marine Collagen and vitamin C.
We have not yet had a change to complete our review of AlphaDerma CE, but expect an update from us shortly. For now we are giving it 3.5 s tars based solely on the ingredients.

The basic science behind Promaxyl is bio-peptides - in particular Acetyl Hexapeptide-3. Bio-peptides can stimulate cellular growth and increase collagen production. Peptides can also improve fibronectin as well as hyaluronic acid, substances that are naturally occurring and increase skin elasticity, firmness, and strength.
The product is priced affordably and we are waiting for further reviews before increasing its rating.

Skin Caviar contains sea proteins, phytotherapy, and Acetyl Hexapeptide-3. Customers who can afford this Swiss miracle tend to be customers for life.

8. NanoDNA

NanoDNA does not provide any information about whether clinical trials were conducted to prove the anti-aging results claimed. We are intrigued by the use of ingredients like Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, Vitamin A Palmitate, Willow Bark Extract, and Lemon Grass Extract, we're still hesitant to give Nano DNA anti-wrinkle our full recommendation.

Apotek Cellular Repair Complex contains Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, as well as several lesser known peptides, like Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide.
One problem with Apotek Cellular Repair is that the price is high for a very small supply (only one ounce).
